Hazen Technologies Inc. is looking for a Scrum Master to join our team in our Lahore Pakistan office. The Scrum Master will lead the team and acts as a product owner. This person is responsible for delegating tasks appropriately, encouraging collaboration, transparency and coordinating the correct deliverables in a timely manner meeting all quality standards and milestones. Identifies and procures all necessary resources to meet smaller, tactical project specifications. Facilitates sprint planning meetings and daily stand-up meetings for smaller, tactical projects. Provides burn-down and other weekly reports. He/she will ensure the entire team supports the implemented Scrum process and coach the team members on Agile methodologies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Project management – Manage each project's scope and timeline to meet all deadlines and deliverables. Work with product/project owners to handle backlog and new requests. Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles as they arise. Ensure quality standards have been met. Create a productive environment where team members feel ownership of their work and the project
• Lead – Coach team members as questions or issues come up. Guide development teams to a higher scrum maturity. Understand and effectively lead the execution of the scrum ceremonies and practices with your team.
• Coordination – Sprints planning, estimation, sprints reviews, coordinate sprints, backlog grooming, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups. Help teams implement changes effectively., daily stand-ups, reporting & metrics (e.g. burn down, velocity)
• Achieve consistent Flow of work through the team. Maintain a holistic view of the work
• Manage each project’s scope and timeline
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
• Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
• Help teams implement changes effectively
• Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
• Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
• Assist build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it

Job Specification and Skills:

• 03-05 years of experience in a scrum master role, Agile Scrum master’s in planning and delivering technology solutions
• Familiarity with software development
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
• Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks and tools: Scrum, Kanban, Jira and Confluence
• Experience with waterfall project management and partnering with project management
• Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new products, lines of business, processes, software, systems, and client needs
• Outstanding organizational skills ability to perform in a team environment
• Have a true passion about Technology. It's a must!
• Effective risk management skills and ability to predict and mitigate risks and issues, as well as anticipating and proactively preparing for changes and impacts to clients and SVB’s business
• Active listening, persuasiveness to gain buy-in, consensus, and cooperation in the face of conflicting

viewpoints, resistance to change, constraints, etc.

• Able to develop and foster collaborative teamwork and facilitate team dynamics
• Ability to work with teams to organize work (Epics) and size to support ability to measure, future planning and predictability

• Nice to have Backend experience either .Net framework
• Willing to work as per the USA timing (02:00 pm to 11:00 pm)
• Willing to work from office most of the times, while few times WFH is also available

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters’ degree in Computer Science or relevant
• Scrum master certification is a plus

Job timings / Place of work:

• It is compulsory to work from office as per US timing i.e., usually from 02:00 pm to 11:00 pm as per Pakistan standard time
• Willing to work from office most the times, however WFH can be availed as per policy
