All Verified/Legitimate Prop Firms List (And Those to Avoid) - Prop Traders Club (1)

With the rapid growth of the online prop firm industry, there have never been more options available to traders. The downside, however, is that there are numerous firms that are out to exploit traders and make a quick buck. The aim of this page is to determine which firms are operating fair, legitimate operations and which are not.

Each firm’s place on the list will be determined by a number of factors including:

Trust Metrics

  • Trustpilot Score – We explore the rating as well as the number of verified vs unverified reviews. We also look at the content of the reviews to check for recurring issues.
  • Recent Reviews – We look for spikes in recent negative reviews. This can be indicative of bad things to come.
  • Hidden Rules – We look through the full terms and conditions of each firm and compare that to what the firm actively displays in the FAQ/Rules section. If too many rules or important rules are hidden in T&Cs, this will reflect poorly on the firm.
  • Ambiguous/Subjective Rules – All rules should be clear and objective and not open to interpretation, within reason.
  • Prop Traders Club Facebook Group Standing – We have over 11,000 members in our group with a vast amount of combined experience. This is a great resource to determine how firms treat traders on a large scale.
  • Time in Business – How long a firm has been operating can provide a clearer picture on how they treat there traders and how well the business is run.
  • Transparency – This is a broad subject that can include which details the firm make public (CEO, locations etc..) as well as how much of the business operations they share with their members.
